How We Deliver

The CREST Certificate in Leadership Program is an in-service model of leadership development. It is designed to serve people while they continue in their occupations.

The learning experiences occur in the following learning environments:

1. CREST Cohort

The CREST cohort is comprised of 10 to 20 learners who journey together in a modular learning experience where both core and individualized learning occurs. Each cohort comes together for two days (which we call CREST  “Encounters”) four times per year for a total of eight times over the two-year course.  For more information, note these links to the right —————–>

The eight Encounters typically consist of:

  • Seminars on leadership, followed by a facilitated discussion. These dynamic discussions are a major learning resource.
  • Creative learning experiences. Not just lectures – innovative methods drive the learning deep.
  • Spiritual disciplines. Not just studied, but practiced.
  • Special speakers from businesses, growing churches, and para-church ministries.

2. Cohort Facilitator Mentoring

Each cohort is guided in its learning journey by cohort facilitators, experienced in leadership and adult learning models. The cohort facilitator connects regularly with the student for one-on-one mentoring, accountability, progress feedback, and program evaluation.
