The CREST Leadership Centre was founded in 2002 on the belief that mid-life leaders need unique and intentional leadership training if they are to advance into an engaging and significant second half. Born out of the doctoral research of Dr. Dan Reinhardt, CREST Leadership has been impacting mid-life leaders across Canada in both ministry and the marketplace.
After fifteen years of intense and effective pastoral leadership, Dr. Reinhardt took a sabbatical time-out from ministry, and it was during this time of study that Dr. Reinhardt became convinced that the flat line trajectory that most mid-life leaders face is not the only option. Instead, by creating an environment and curriculum specifically designed to transform the mid-life leader, it is possible for mid-life leaders to move into a second half where maximum effectiveness is achieved. This passion for mid-life leaders is the foundation for what became the CREST Leadership Centre and under the auspices of Rocky Mountain College, the CREST Leadership Certificate Program was launched.
Since 2002, the CREST Leadership Centre, located in Calgary, AB, has become an independent, non-profit corporation impacting 150 leaders across Canada, each of whom is demonstrating that a transformational, mid-life experience is possible.
